Adamas’s privacy policy applies to website visitors, customers, vendors and business partners. It applies across the Adamas group of companies, international partnerships, and affiliated organisations (“Adamas”, “we”, “out”,”us”), and the products and services we provide.
Information we collect
We collect information when you communicate with us, when you use our products and services, and visit our sites and website for business-related or employment purposes.
This information includes the following:
- Contact information, such as names, business phone numbers, mobile numbers, business and personal addresses and photographs.
- Product and service related information including call records, images, voice recordings or voice prints, other bio-metric identifiers, which may be collected by CCTV and other bio-metric devices deployed at our premises.
- Driver’s license information, National Registration Identification Card information.
- Role-related information such as designation, responsibilities, departments, work history, qualifications and experience.
- Financial information such as financial account and property ownership information about individuals connected to particular businesses if needed to process payment, fulfill contractual liabilities, due diligence or related matters.
How we use this information
We use this information to establish, monitor and maintain your account and billing records; measure credit and payment risk; provide account-related products and services; deliver and maintain your products and services; help you with service/product-related issues or questions; manage and protect our networks, services and users from fraudulent, abusive or unlawful uses; help us to improve our product and service offerings; help us to research and develop new products and services; authenticate you; determine your eligibility for new product and services; and contact you with marketing offers.
When you contact us or we contact you, we may monitor or record that communication or keep a record of that transaction to help us train our employees and better serve you. if you communicate with us via third-party services such as Whatsapp or Facebook Messenger, your communications are also governed by these companies’ privacy policies.
Information about your use of Adamas products and services may be aggregated or otherwise de-identified for business or marketing uses by us or by third-parties. You may choose to opt out of certain of these uses.
Information provided to us by third-parties
In order to comply with various regulations in the countries in which we operate or to conduct background checks in accordance with our internal requirements (where permissible by and in accordance with applicable legislation), we may receive personal information about you from third party sources such as credit check databases, politically exposed persons databases, government denied parties, sanctions and watchlists, your employer, other parties in the construction and real estate industries such as property agents, purchasers, vendors, architects and designers, engineers, surveyors, developers, landlords and tenants, financial institutions, public registries and online databases. These types of information may include information about whether you have been subject to any particular regulatory, legal or judicial proceedings. This information may be used to assess any risks arising from any relationship and/or prospective relationship with you and/or your organisation, and to maintain and improve the accuracy of our records. This information shall only be obtained when we have verified that these third parties have either attained your consent or are otherwise legally permitted or required to disclose your information to us.

Information shared within the Adamas group of companies
We share your personal information for the purposes of supporting the delivery of or provide functionality on our website and other infrastructure, to assist us in carrying out due diligence checks, to carry out research and marketing activities or to support the delivery of our products and services in general to our customers.
You can limit the sharing of certain types of information, specifically Customer Proprietary Information (CPI). Customer Proprietary Information (CPI) is information that relates to the type, location, design and configuration, and related billing information for the premises of our customers, vendors and business associates.

Information shared outside the Adamas group of campanies
Except as explained in this Privacy Notice, in privacy policies for specific purposes, or in agreements with our customers, Adamas does not sell, license or share information that individually identifies our customers, vendors, business associates or people accessing our sites and websites with others outside of the Adamas group of companies that are not performing work on Adamas’s behalf without the consent of the person whose information shall be shared.
Adamas uses vendors and business associates for a variety of business purposes such as to help us offer, provide, repair, restore and bill for products and services we provide. We share those information with vendors and business associates when it is necessary for them to perform work on our behalf. We require that these vendors and business associates protect the personal information we provide to them and limit their use of such information to the purposes for which it was provided. We do not permit vendors and business associates to use this information for their marketing purposes.
We may disclose information that individually identifies customers in certain circumstances, such as:
- To comply with valid legal process including subpoenas, court orders or search warrants, and as otherwise authorised by law; in cases involving danger of death or serious physical injury to any person or other emergencies;
- To protect our rights or property, or the safety of our customers and employees; to protect against fraudulent, malignant, malicious, abusive, unauthorised and unlawful use of our products and services and to protect our customers, vendors and business associates from such use;
- To advance or defend against complaints and legal claims in court, administrative proceedings and elsewhere;
- To credit bureaus or collection agencies to determine credit risk, for reporting purposes or to obtain payment for Adamas products and services;
- To a third party that you have authorised to verify your account information;
- When you have authorised others to verify your account information;
- To outside auditors and regulators;
- With your consent.
When you purchase products and services jointly offered by Adamas and one of our vendors or business associates, customer information may be received by both Adamas and our vendor or business associate that is providing your service. For these jointly provided services, you should also review the other vendor or business associate’s company privacy policy which may include practices that are different from the practices described here.
If Adamas enters into a merger, acquisition or sale of all or a portion of its assets or business, personal information will also be transferred as part of or in connection with the transaction.
Information provided to or used by advertising entities or social networks
Adamas website, products and services may also include social networks or other third-party plug-ins or widgets that may provide information to their associated social networks or third parties about your interactions with Adamas pages you visit or products and services you use, even if you do not click on or otherwise interact with the plug-in or widget.
How to limit the sharing and use of your information
You have choices about how Adamas uses and shares information.
Customer Proprietary Information (CNI)
Customers may choose to limit the sharing and usage of CNI for Adamas’s marketing purposes and notice about our use and sharing of CNI and the choices you have may be provided over the phone, via text or stated in contracts or in other ways.
Adamas customers, vendors and business associates may opt out by emailing enquiry@adamas.asia stating your decision to opt out.
Information about your credit
Adamas may limit the sharing of credit information for our marketing of new products and services to you. You may opt out by emailing enquiry@adamas.asia stating your decision to opt out.
Marketing emails, text messages, postal mail and door-to-door calls
Marketing emails you receive from Adamas include an unsubscribe instruction (usually found at the bottom of the email) that you may use to opt out of receiving future marketing-related emails.
You may opt out of receiving marketing emails or prevent door-to-door marketing solicitations from Adamas by sending an email to enquiry@adamas.asia to opt out.
Working together to keep children safe
Adamas recognises that all service providers must be vigilant in protecting the safety and privacy of children. We do not knowingly market to or solicit personal information from children under the age of 13 without parental consent.
If you have a complaint about illegal or inappropriate activity involving children on a Adamas service, report it to us by sending an email to enquiry@adamas.asia.
Information security and data retention
Adamas has technical, administrative and physical safeguards in place to help protect against unauthorised access to, use or disclosure of personal information we collect and store. Employees are trained on the importance of protecting privacy and on the proper access to, use and disclosure of personal information. Under our practices and policies, access to sensitive personally identifiable information is authorised only for those who have a business need for such access. Personally identifiable and other sensitive records are retained as long as is reasonably necessary for business, accounting, tax or legal purposes.
Although we work hard to protect personal information that we collect and store, no system is 100% secure and we cannot guarantee that our safeguards will prevent every unauthorised attempt to access, use or disclose personal information. Adamas maintains security and incident response plans to handle incidents involving unauthorised access to personal information we collect or store.

In particular, unless expressly stated, we are not agents for these websites or advertisers nor are we authorised to make representations on their behalf. Information sharing: blogs and social networks
Some interactions with Adamas may allow you to participate in blogs discussions, message boards, chat rooms and other forms of social networking. These forums are accessible to others and information you post may be read, collected, shared, or otherwise used by anyone who accesses the forum. If you post content to information sharing forums, including any personal information, you are doing so by choice and you are providing consent to the disclosure of this information.
Changes to this policy
Adamas reserves the right to make changes to this privacy policy, so please check back periodically for changes. You will be able to see that changes have been made by changes to the effective date posted at the beginning of this policy. If Adamas elects to use or disclose information that identifies you as an individual in a manner that is materially different from that stated in our policy at the time we collected that information from you, we will give you a choice regarding such use or disclosure by appropriate means, which may include use of an opt out mechanism.
